The
Boiler House Factory is a new business established to develop,
promote, and supply modular skid-mounted cooling and heating systems
for use in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional facilities.
The founder is a certified steamfitter, gas fitter and plumber, who
began his career in the mechanical industry during summer holidays
while attending high school.
"We
conceived The Skid while installing a hot water boiler
at a local carwash. The general contractor had neglected to pour the
housekeeping pads for the boiler plant, so we were asked to build
a steel deck on which to place the equipment. While we were installing
the fabricated steel deck, someone joked, "We should have put
the entire mechanical room together at our shop." Soon after,
The Skid was born."
In the course
of thirty-five-plus years in the mechanical industry, we have seen
a great evolution in the supply of materials and equipment to job
